Get ready to earn this weekend’s Italian calories by running with us!

The Italian Fest 5K is back for 2023!! Come join us on Saturday, September 16th at 8:00 AM on Main Street for the 5K.

The Italian Fest Committee and Final Lap Race Management are excited to host the 5K race and Kids Dash.

5K Course

The course is a flat and fast out & back route finishing on Main St.

  • Shirts
    • T-shirts (sizes YS – 3XL) will be provided with registration. Register by September 4th to be guaranteed a shirt in your size.

    • 5K | 9/4-9/15 | $30
    • 5K | Race day | $35
  • Packet Pickup and Late Registration
    • 9/15 | 4:00pm-7:00pm | Registration table next to souvenir stand
    • 9/16 | 6:45am-8:00am | at finish line area
  • Chip timing | Provided by Final Lap Race Management
  • Awards | Top 3 overall male and females and Top 3 in following age groups
    • Age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
  • Early Bib &Shirt Pickup | Friday, September 16th, at Italian Fest on Main Street from 5:00pm – 8:00pm

  • Race Day Bib &Shirt Pickup | Saturday, September 17th, at Italian Fest on Main Street from 6:30am – 8:00am

Kids Dash

  • Distance | 1/4 mile out & back on Main St after the 5K.

Italian Fest Event Guidelines

Here is a list of guidelines that will help make Italian Fest enjoyable and safe for everyone!

  • In the event of an emergency, please listen to and follow the directions of Event Staff and Rescue/Emergency professionals.
  •  Italian Fest attendees are expected to avoid unnecessary risks and exercise common sense.
  • Fireworks, firearms, knives, swords, weapons, and explosive materials are strictly prohibited.
  • Pets are not permitted. However, registered service animals are welcome, but you will be asked to show your papers for your service animal as well as clean-up bags.
  • No Bikes, Skateboards, or Scooters allowed.
  • Trash goes into the trash receptacles. Help us make sure the city of Collinsville can stay clean.
  • As a guest of Italian Fest please treat the Main Street buildings and grounds with respect. These historic buildings cannot stand up to abuse, ill-use, or being climbed on. Please conduct yourself and your children in such a way that we can continue to host Italian Fest here for years to come.
